Great success for the International finals of the V-Accordion Festival in Rome!- Final day

The show took place at 21pm at Sinopoli Hall in the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
The hall was fully sold, seating about 1200 people.

The 14 contestants coming from all around the world performed in front of the audience in the marvellous scenario of the Petrassi Hall. After each performance the members of the jury expressed their own judgement.
Jury members were:Angel Luis Castano (Chairman of the jury), Kimmo Mattila, Xiao Qing Cao, Alexander Selianov, Jacques Mornet, Renzo Ruggieri, Raymond Bodell.

The concert started with a walk in by the contestants, each holding a flag for their country. Some 14 countries in total being represented.

Before starting the competition,  Cory Pesaturo, Roland Demonstator (USA) performed with the new FR-7x.

 Then came a competitive performance by each contestant.
Rudik Yakhin (GERMANY) was the first contestant to take the stage.

  Lisa Eriksson (Sweden) was the second contestant to take the stage

 Alicia Baker (USA) was the third contestant to take the stage.

 Grayson Masefield (NEW ZEALAND) was the fourth contestant to take the stage.

 
Then was the turn of  Archie Main (RUK)

 Then was the turn of Miguel Angel Rumbo (SPAIN)

 The seventh contestant to take the stage was NIcolas Koch (FRANCE)

The first part of the competition ended with the performance of two special guests: the duo made of the lovely Belgium singer Silke and the winner of the Coupe Mondiale Mario D'Amario.

The second part of the competition started with the performance of Alexander Sevastian (CANADA)

 Next was the turn of Orimar Hess Junior (BRAZIL)

 and Piotr Sokowronski (POLAND)

  Then was the turn of Luca Sganappa (ITALY)

  and Xiaonan Xu (CHINA)

 Then was the turn of Koen Walraevens (BELGIUM)

  The last contestant to perform was Koharu Matsunaga (JAPAN)

The competition ended with the performace of the wellknown Ludovic Beier and the dancer Alex La Rosa (who is involved in making many video clips of famous pop and rock artists) with his own ballet .

 After the ballet it was announced the name of the winners of the 3rd Intenational V-Accordion Festival.

The 1st place went to Grayson Masefield  (NEW ZEALAND)

The 2nd and the 3rd place went to Xiaonan Xu (CHINA) and Nicolas Koch (FRANCE).
